UPL Overview

UPL Limited, formerly known as United Phosphorus Limited, is a global Indian company specializing in crop protection, seed, and specialty chemicals.

Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, UPL has grown to become one of the world's leading crop input companies, hovering around 5th or 6th in crop protection and seed revenue globally.

The company has historically been a generic crop protection provider, however, after acquiring Arysta Lifesciences and having a shift in company leadership, the organization has been building its proprietary and natural plant protection base for the future.

UPL has a presence in 130 countries and a portfolio of over 13,600 product registrations.
